GarageBand Class Composition

The Valena/Saputo class created a collaborative composition over the course of two weeks using an Apple computer program called GarageBand.  The sound clips used were pre-made by Apple, but in order for them to come together as a complete song, the students had to figure out which clips sounded good together, which sounded better alone, when to add more or shorten the clips, and work together to agree on placement within the two-and-a-half minute piece.  Once the arranging process was complete, the class decided the song sounded like it belongs in a spy movie!
